The college has been asked by Voluntary Action Leeds to aid in their research into urgent care services in Leeds. Urgent care is care that someone feels is needed on the same day but their illness or injury is not life-threatening.
The NHS in Leeds has developed proposals to establish five urgent treatment centres in different locations across Leeds. The aim of the new centres is to reduce the pressure on A&E departments and make it easier for people to access urgent care when it is needed. You can see the proposals by following the survey link below.
The Leeds Voices team at Voluntary Action Leeds would like to know your thoughts and views on these proposals. They are particularly keen to hear from people who study or work in further and higher education institutions like Leeds City College.
We would really appreciate it if you could take some time to look at the proposals and complete the short survey here www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/VALUTC
The information you provide will help shape future services in the city. For more information email the Leeds Voices team LeedsVoices@Val.org.uk
