Care To Learn Childcare Funding Event

Do you know any student parents aged between 16 and 19?  Childcare funding is available for young parents through the national Care to Learn scheme.

Please ask students to come along to our Care to Learn event to find out how the college can support with securing suitable childcare and applying for funding.

Printworks Campus room A012 in the Blue Printhall on Thursday 27th June, 1:00-3:00pm

This is a drop-in event, no booking is needed, the parent can come at any time and can bring their children.

The college Childcare Adviser and Welfare Adviser will be available to give advice and support on funding for childcare, applying for benefits and Universal Credits and course related costs such as travel, meals, books, equipment and the Priority Fund.

A Careers Adviser will also be available to give advice on choosing courses and future options for progression, such as work, training, apprenticeships and further study.

Further information on Care to Learn is available on-line at  https://www.gov.uk/care-to-learn/eligibility
